Dear Honey Creek Family: 

It is both an honor and pleasure to continue the charge of serving our HONEYBEE Families! As I move into my 7th year as principal of Honey Creek, I look forward to continuing to build and create relationships with our community, to support our students. The students continue to be an inspiration to me as they continue to show their perseverance in learning, academically and behaviorally. 

Over the last 6 years, we have created a welcoming learning environment for all. We are happy to announce, we have added 3 shade structures to our campus. Two are on each of the student playgrounds and one is on the walking track. We are grateful to our community for supporting our fundraising efforts to improve these areas. Additionally, thanks to E-SPLOST funds, our district improved our basketball courts. They have been widened and now include space for Box Ball and Pickleball. These improvements have been made possible thanks to the help of our BoosterTHON fundraisers, which netted $11,000 over two years. 

I am moving into my 27th year in education, supporting students, families, teachers, and learning communities. My partnerships have allowed me to experience opportunities to serve in various capacities, with diverse populations. My instructional leadership has been shaped through experience teaching at the elementary, middle, and community college level. Additionally, I have worked to support teachers as an Instructional Literacy Lead at the school and district level. 

Along with the teachers, staff, students, parents, and stakeholders, I will continue to work diligently to support the continuous improvement of the Honey Creek School Community by fostering a collaborative learning environment and building strong, meaningful relationships. This partnership will allow us to focus on supporting a culture where students grow and achieve at high levels. My commitment to you is to ensure our students access learning that is INTENTIONAL, EXCEPTIONAL, AND AMAZING. 

I challenge our families to partner with us to ensure excellence for our future leaders. In this partnership, let’s work together to make Honey Creek the absolute best place to learn and achieve.
