Honey Creek School Crest

BEE Intentional ~ BEE Exceptional ~ BEE Amazing

July 19, 2023

Greetings Honey Creek Families,

Welcome to an AMAZING year of learning at the HIVE. As summer winds down, teachers will begin to return to the building to prepare for this year's journey of learning and exploring new and fascinating experiences in the HIVE. We are excited to have our new and returning Honeybees back in the building, working to create lasting memories of learning! As we look ahead, our teachers remain ready and committed to providing EXCEPTIONAL educational experiences that foster collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement.

This year, our Honey Creek Faculty and Staff will continue to honor our commitment to each other and our families in preparing our students for a global society. We ask you to continue to expect our communication to families through our weekly phone calls, monthly newsletters, and REMIND messages. We will also use communication folders for students on Thursdays, weekly school-wide behavior sheets, as well as grade level newsletters to provide insight on what students are learning each week at the HIVE. We understand the committed partnership between school and home is essential to student success.

Please be sure to follow us and our PTO on Twitter and IG @hce_stemacademy and @hcethehivepto. On Facebook @Honey Creek ES and our PTO @honeycreekpto. Let's continue to partner with all our stakeholders and support learning for our students. Our continued mission is to engage students in ways to support their academic gains, their social-emotional needs and utilize research-based best practices to connect with our learning community.

Digital Citizenship
It is important that we teach all of our young scholars that having a laptop or using the iPads comes with great responsibility. Part of that responsibility is being a good Digital Citizen.

Each month we focus on one part of what being a good Digital Citizen means.
