Dear Honey Creek Family:

I am both honored and humbled to greet you, a dynamic learning community, as your new principal.  I am inspired by the tremendous support and encouragement the faculty, staff, and community members have expressed about their enthusiasm for learning and growing at HCES.

Dedicated to the field of education for more than 19 years, my experiences have provided me opportunities to serve in various capacities, with diverse populations.  My instructional leadership has been shaped through experience teaching at the elementary, middle, and community college level.  Additionally, I have worked to support teachers as an Instructional Literacy Lead at the school and district level.  My most recent administrative experience was with Henry County Schools, where I served as an Assistant Principal of an outstanding learning community.

Along with the teachers, staff, students, parents, and stakeholders, I will work diligently to support the continuous improvement of the Honey Creek School Community by fostering a collaborative learning environment and building strong, meaningful relationships.  This partnership will allow us to focus on supporting a culture of continuous improvement, where students grow and achieve at high levels.  My commitment to you is to ensure our students receive a World Class Education, preparing them for the next level, college, and/or career.

I wish your family, and especially your student, great success as we partner to continue the outstanding work here at Honey Creek.  It is important to me that every Honey Creek student, staff, and community member is excited to be here.  In this partnership, let’s work together to make Honey Creek the absolute best place to learn and grow.

Educationally yours,
